Caring for your items
Our swimwear and beachwear is designed as outwear. We take pride in our craftsmanship of every single design, so with the right care, your swimwear will maintain its shape, colour and quality for seasons to come.
Here is our simple guide to help your swimwear last longer and stay looking its best.
RINSE AFTER EVERY WEAR
After a day at the club, beach or pool, always rinse your swimwear in cool, fresh water as soon as possible. This removes chlorine, salt, sand and sunscreen that can weaken the fibres and fade the fabric over time.
Even if you’re not washing it straight away, a quick rinse helps protect the elasticity and colour of your bikini.

HAND WASH WHEN POSSIBLE
The best way to clean it is by hand. Fill a basin with cool water and use a small amount of gentle detergent. Lightly wash the fabric and rinse thoroughly.
Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach or fabric softeners, as these can damage the fibres and cause your swimwear to lose its shape.
MACHINE WASH WITH CARE
Only use a washing machine if the care label advises to do so. If using a machine, always place your swimwear in a mesh laundry bag and choose a delicate or hand-wash cycle with cold water.
This helps prevent stretching, tangling and damage to straps or hardware.
DRY YOUR SWIMWEAR NATURALLY
Never tumble dry your swimwear. Heat can break down elastic fibres and cause the fabric to lose its stretch.
Instead:
- Gently press out excess water (do not wring)
- Lay flat on a clean towel
- Allow it to air dry in a shaded area
Direct sunlight and hanging can stretch or fade your bikini over time

AVOID COMMON DAMAGE
Certain habits can shorten the life of your swimwear. Try to avoid:
- Leaving swimwear rolled up in a wet towel or bag
- Sitting on rough surfaces like concrete or pool edges
- Contact with strong oils or sunscreen lotions
These can weaken the fibres and affect the fit of your swimwear.
STORE YOUR SWIMWEAR PROPERLY
Once your swimwear is fully dry, store it flat in a drawer or breathable bag. Avoid folding padded cups or compressing the fabric for long periods, as this can distort the shape.
